Liparis plicata

DeLand/Deleon Spring, FL(Zone 8b)

I received a small Liparis plicata as a bonus plant for a purchase I just did.
But no growing instructions...and not much info on the web....
From what I did find I think Fl will be accommodating but I'd like to know more.
Any advice on this one ?

Try looking it up under Liparis bootanensis which is the correct name.

I acquired a 2" chunk of Liparis gibossa several years ago which has similar culture requirements. It was not bloom size but I'm hoping it's not far off. Mine is growing like crazy in a 4", shallow terracotta orchid pot with small coconut chunks. Both species like bright shade. That is, no direct sun, rather ambient light. I dry mine slightly before watering, watering frequently in summer and less in winter.

Gee I thought I had posted a reply to Jim for his advice, don't know if I never hit enter or it got lost...
In any case Thank You both !
It's only in a 2 in. pot right now but it looks like it really could move up. I'll see if I can find a shallow 3 in. clay.
I suspect it will be quite some time before I see a bloom.
