Any Wordpress Guru's here?

Good afternoon!

DH and I are building a website for his artwork, using wordpress. He had a home page all set up. Then we downloaded a lightbox plugin and the home page had a couple symbols on it that he didn't like, ("> ">) relating to the lightbox (which is a separate issue). So he deleted the home page and made a new one.

Now.. you can access the home page when you go to the website, but if you click on anything else and then try to go back to the home page, you get an error. I suspect it is looking for the deleted page rather than the home page.

Does anyone know how to fix it?
