Identification (Albuca Shawii)

lahore, Pakistan(Zone 10b)

Hi.

I planted many seeds of south african bulb Abuca shawii. As i sowed them outdoors, i am not sure what emerged is actually some grass/weed or albuca shawii seedlings. Here are some attached pictures, any help would be appreciated.

Is there a bulb evident? Albuca shawii produces an easily detectable bulb even when very small (2 inch high leaves). At any rate, A. shawii should have much more narrow leaves, and the only easily visible stem should be the flowering stem, not a vegetative stem.

Could it be Albuca nelsonii?

Having just left Florida after 20 years gardening there, I can say that first picture at the top of this post is definitely grass in the foreground. The plant in the behind it may be your plant but the multi stemmed grass looking plant in the foreground is grass.

You should see that same grass in other area's around your property as well, verifying and providing you the confidence you need to go ahead and pull it out.
