Just want to compare what everyone has because i don't know if mine are what there named.
Heres my rosea? which was thought to be purpurata but it now has its own name?.

Second photo looks like a purp to me. 3rd reminds me of Scarlett Bell but I'm not that is what it is.

Never mind, Scarlett Bell is different, it doesn't have the veins in the hoods.

I know what you mean its similar to Scarlett belle thats why i think its a psittacina x Leu. Heres my scarlett belle has more white in it.

Yes, the first one is S. purpurea. The second one is S. purpurea × psittacina, and the third one is also a S. psittacina hybrid (unsure of what other species though).

Thanks! ok so 1st is Purpura, Second is S. Courtii (which is Purp. x Psitt.) thanks nmcnear! and 3rd a psitt. x wonder with what? thanks everyone. Still love to see pics of anyone elses!

My Sarracinia is in bud now too. I repotted it about a month ago in peat/sand, as the grower recomended. Seems to be working so far.

Coarse clean sand, Canadian peat and some dried long fiber sphagnum moss. I also put the moss on top and its dormant spores germinate so I get a living layer on top. The moss gets crunchy and brown in the TX heat but is still alive.
