Just want to compare what everyone has because i don't know if mine are what there named.
Heres my rosea? which was thought to be purpurata but it now has its own name?.
Post your photos of purpurata, psittacina and Rosea
Second photo looks like a purp to me. 3rd reminds me of Scarlett Bell but I'm not that is what it is.
Never mind, Scarlett Bell is different, it doesn't have the veins in the hoods.
Yup, looks like mine.
ohh so no one on here has these 3 plants?
I don't.
number 1 is S. purpurea, might be a cultivar but that is the species I think.

Yes, the first one is S. purpurea. The second one is S. purpurea × psittacina, and the third one is also a S. psittacina hybrid (unsure of what other species though).
Beautiful! What potting medium do you use?
My Sarracinia is in bud now too. I repotted it about a month ago in peat/sand, as the grower recomended. Seems to be working so far.
Coarse clean sand, Canadian peat and some dried long fiber sphagnum moss. I also put the moss on top and its dormant spores germinate so I get a living layer on top. The moss gets crunchy and brown in the TX heat but is still alive.
