Sinningia bullata

Chicago, IL(Zone 6a)

Formerly known as S. sp. "Florianopolis", this plant has quickly become a favorite of growers and hybridizers. The plant is easy to grow and propagate and is not hard to bloom but seems to need slightly lower temperatures to set buds.

My favorite feature are the different textures of the plant

Bullate leaves, fuzz all over and dayglo orange buds

And the seed pods are fuzzy as well

Thanks everyone! :)

They are very easy to start from seed and it seems as though the two pods are going to make it...

Hi Olaf,

Glad to hear that you are feeling better. Did notice you had gone silent and I missed the information. Be well.
