What kind of thread do you use for machine quilting, long arm and/or your regular machine? What do you use for piecing? I've been using Star thread for both and I'm wondering if a heavier thread would be better for the long arm? I am looking at Sulky, long staple cotton, 12 wt. I'd like to quilt the Durango Pinwheels in a varigated thread. I may have a friend quilt it as I am not very good. Yet. I have not been paying much attention to what thread I use, as long as it's cotton, and am wondering if I'm missing something..... Any input would be appreciated. Thanks.
