Anyone here know anything about W&SB before they were purchased by the silverplate company? I am looking for information from 1895-1910 approximately regarding when they did golf filled jewelry and watches. I have not been able to find much online (google). My FIL has an old chain with a dog clasp with W&SB mark on the clasp and inside 1/10 (gold filled I found to mean). It is attached to a twisted rope chain and I am trying to determine if W&SB made the twisted rope chain. It is short - appears to be from a watch with what I have been able to find. However, it has a brass or copper crucifix attached to it. It belonged to his great grandfather who was married in 1899.
Any info would be helpful.
