Apple I book G4

Bought one of these about month or so ago,been working fine,today I started it up came on no problem went to the homepage,address shows it in the address bar,but no web page will appear,check the internet connection it is fine,because my new laptop working fine,tried everything I know to get it to work,but no change,even when I try going to another page,it shows up in the address bar as if I were they but no web page is appearing,any ideas???
