Help naming my hibiscus cultivar

Kure Beach, NC(Zone 9a)

So, i crossed two tropical hibiscus, Irish Spring and Nightmare. One of the resulting plants has a gorgeous bloom that I'm going to try and register.
Now, I need to figure out a name.
Possibilities so far are: Othello, Midnight Run and Dark Horse.
Here's a pic.

That is a gorgeous bloom. Those white rays reminded me of lightening.

Good luck with whatever you name it.

It is gorgeous, and reminds me of a supernova.
Dark Star

Scratch that - there's already a hibiscus named Dark Star. Who knew?

Donna - and there is one named After Midnight, which was the original name.. Lots 'o hibiscus out there!
I like all the ones you wanted, but my husband really likes Midnight Run (one of his favorite movies) so we're going with that one. I am going to keep these suggestions as possibilities for future cultivars.
Thanks!

I used to belong to the American Hibiscus Society and they maintain the registry. A number of hybridizers register names they like just to reserve them. For a grower, it takes several generations to determine if a plant is worthy, but everyone is hoping so the data base is huge. As you can see in the attached, my friend Barry Schlueter has more than 100 already in production and thousands being evaluated. Lots of record keeping. http://www.barryschlueter.com/Hibiscus_Seeds_by_Barry_Schlueter/About_Barry.html

The cold took almost all of my prettier plants and I dropped my AHS membership.

Ardesia, Barry is the person who grew this for me. It's quite a process, isn't it?
I have another seedling that I'm hoping can get registered and put on the market.
Here is it.

Thanks Mike.
Can't believe how pretty it is. The parents have no purple in them (perhaps the grandparents do) and purple is my favorite color!

I know. I'm very happy that he agreed to help me. i haven't been very successful growing hibiscus from seed since I tend to over water in the Winter and kill them.
