"Seed Catalogue"

Quartz Hill, CA

I love to work with paper and handmade books and my desire to garden has bloomed since we've moved to a new home. So . . . I've been making my own "seed catalogues." I make small envelopes out of handmade paper (sometimes I make the paper, sometimes I buy it), fill them with various kinds of seeds and put them in a hand made book which has pages made of hand made paper. I calligraphy on the envelopes what kind of seeds are in the envelope with "Walnut" ink and a glass pen with a vintage nib. More fun than I can describe. I'll post some photographs when I have the process perfected.
