Usually I just start seeds indoors in March, but this year I wound up with a couple of tubers that came up readily and I want to try to store them in the hope that the plant will bloom earlier in the summer than seed-started ones do. It's no fun having flowering annuals for just a few weeks in late summer! If anyone thinks this is a waste of time, though, please let me know!
Past experience with tubers is that they either get too dried out, or too wet and moldy.
Best conditions to store mirabilis jalapa tuber over winter?
