I live in New York and we have various types of wild violet that grow in the same area. The most common is the one with purple flowers, that sometimes has white with a purple center. The 2nd most common has yellow flowers, and the rarest has pink flowers. Will these naturally hybridize if insects visit flowers from 2 differently colored flower plants?
