Looking for printer assistance with Adobe Reader

Deep East Texas, TX(Zone 8a)

Recently I have encountered a problem with Adobe Reader. I can open attachments but when I try to print them, I receive an Adobe Reader message " Unable to start print job. Is printer available?"

Yes, the printer is on and available to the best of my knowledge.
When I click ok, the same message returns a second time and then it stays blank.

The printer works normally through all the other applications and I am at a loss on how to correct this.

Does anyone have a suggestion or solution please?
