Morning Glories as potplants

Aschaffenburg, Germany

Now I have some time to post a few photos of MGs I grew in pots. Last year they were flowering around Christmas time, this years they are setting seeds earlier and will be gone in some 4 weeks.

Here is one with Sazanami genes. Don't ask me where I got it from. I will call it glacier ice for my records. It has beautiful tricolored leaves, too.

A nice pink nil. Bad seed setter.

Glacier ice grows two types of blooms on the same vine, one reminds me of Jamie Lynn (purpurea), but unlike the latter it has a blue ring instead of a pink ring inside.

The various kykios are a delight.

Morning glories always inspire me and I look forward to the new blooms that are so full of mystery every day...
