I like to use the leaves of some plants for interest in my arrangements, but unless I was making a gigantic something for an international flower show, there is no use for these grand alocasia.
Tropical Foliage
canna leaves are nice though - they are smaller, and lasts a long time. The flowers wilt almost right away - but I keep a clump of cannas growing for the leaves.
Lucky you, I have no green thumb when it comes to canna. I use caladium leaves and hostas. I have found that some of my hostas last a long time and others wilt within an hour?
Beautiful Dianne. I never heard of cast iron plants. Will have to check them out. You know what else lasts forever is liatris.
