Hi all,
I received a shipment from a nursery of some whips with suspicious bark growth that I suspect is canker. It is on first year growth, which spells disaster to me, although there are healthy leaves above it (?). Of my 61 JMs and my 15 years of growing JMs, I have never seen this happen. The vendor denies there is any problem, of course. Am I correct in my diagnosis?
