I just read about this in the latest AIS magazine:
Dave Silverberg from Oregon uses fire blight spray. It is a powder that has streptomycin as the active ingredient, and you don't need to scoop out the rot, just spray it on. Sounds, too good to be true, doesn't it? But it is worth a try.
