I have enough of this weed herb to make some of the tea. Does anyone know exactly how to use this herb as mentioned on the link.
I would be interested in how to use it topically also.

YES, but

1- Always make sure you have identified the plant properly before using it.
2- Always research on more than one site. Livestrong is not the best place to look this up. There are lots of very respected herbalists that have written books- try a David Hoffman, Christopher Hobbs, Rosemary Gladstar, Matthew Wood, and many others.

For this plant, If using internally, use it as a tea, its main chemicals are mostly water soluble. Plantain is an astringent, demulcent, expectorant. Note that internally it is a laxative!

Externally, which is where I use it most, it's useful for skin conditions (rashes), bruises, burns, and and bee strings. You can make a poultice out of the plant, or make an oil out of it.

Thanks, I was most interested in using it externally.
