My White Swans foliage is turning black and mushy. It seems like rot almost maybe from too much water, but we haven't had very much rain and they get lots of sun. What should I do?

As long as the stems aren't rotting at the crown... i wouldn't think it would be from overwatering. Could be a rust of some sort
Flowerchick, I would try sulphur.
I have four that turned black, was it too much rain? Are they dead? I don't know, I will just leave them and wait to see if they come back next year, that is all you can do really. :)
I haven't heard about the sulphur. I will have to check that out.
