Dany's MG 2011 - 05

Prosperity, SC(Zone 7b)

Ahh we have a mutual friend I think in Emma, I found her at Fb Morning Glory Lovers I was added by a friend
and I surely will post a pic of my/your masterpiece
and if you e 'er would want to share any seeds I do not have many MG (yet)
But I will soon I have a Split personality that is performing past its reputation..3 1/2" and 4" flowers...Maybe a cross with a neighboring purpurpea that I believe to be Star of Yelta
I marked the stems from the day I watched the bees and hummingbirds pollenating betwixt them
Yep I have entered into the new world of MGs
I am sure to become as addicted as when I was Daylily hybridizing. (I stopped until some of my seedlings matued and came into their truw colors)
Have a great Day

Dany - You got some really unique blooms today!

This one: http://davesgarden.com/community/forums/fp.php?pid=8780864 Is a great photo! Love the mix of rays and blizzard mixed together in one bloom! Love the color, too!

This one: http://davesgarden.com/community/forums/fp.php?pid=8780901 does look a little like ray flow, but probably more of a blizzard or diluted pattern.

Those variegated seed pods are cool! Amazing!!!

Love that photo of the rows of MG vines growing! Looks like a bumper crop! What a sight to see each day! ♥

I love the Q1044 photo showing both variations of the blooms! Nice photo!

The Blue Silk and split petal purpurea blooms do look gorgeous together! Nice composition in that photo!

I LOVE that almost perfect bloom! Beautiful! WOW!!!

And that last one that came from Karen2005 is beautiful! Love the color and pattern! Such lovely blooms! She sure knows how to cross them to get such amazing blooms! ♥

So like on the first one, you used the number: 0117-0002 ? I know that it also produces a different bloom: 0117-0000.

Do you have any idea what you might get if you just used the first 4 numbers? 0117

szarvas, Hungary

I have my list in hand for the crossing of the day!

son of Black King ...

Made me think of Son of King Kong! LOL!

Neat color on that one. What is the other parent besides Black King?

szarvas, Hungary

I have no idea!
It is not Black Queen and I wish to create with this cultivar as a base (photo ).... Finally, it will be Black Queen second Dynasty because BQ is already created by Emma !
