With purpurea there is still much work to do!
For example developing the four colors.
or five color like this - not to mention the red!

Or this !

Here the darkest color I've ever had!
I hope to produce some seeds.

To cross again with Grey Wolf... perhaps !

WOW! Love that grey wolf! ♥ And the Dark purpurea is one I've never seen before. Your bloom looks larger than the usual I. purpurea? Amazing your Hama ginga with dark bleu bloom! Beautiful!!! And your #4 is another attractive bloom!

Looking at all your blooms is better than eating a piece of chocolate! And not as fattening, either! :-) I'm enjoying all your bloom photos! What a joy!

Jacksonville, AR(Zone 7b)

Dany all lovely but i'm partial to that big, dark blue purpurea and the bloom right underneath it.

Aschaffenburg, Germany

Dany, here is a purpurea that has a touch of yellow in the photo. It could well be just reflection of the sun; it has little purple streaks, too.

I do not think there is a pure white or snow white purpurea .Karen (2005) has two different line both creamy white but one has a tan seeds .

I have a white Nil with blue spots.

Dany, great blooms. Love Grey Wolf, Hama Ginga. The white Nil with blue spots is incredible

szarvas, Hungary

A new cultivar.

At the same place, different colors.

This one is always a problem as sterile: what cultivar to cross with so that it produces seeds and keep his characteristics.

Thumbnail by dany12
szarvas, Hungary

This cultivar resembles a cross with Black King. The foliage is variegated but more green and the flowers are less flat, more undulating.
I hope it will produce seeds!

http://davesgarden.com/community/forums/fp.php?pid=8772767 Looks like it has 7 white rays!

This one is stunning! http://davesgarden.com/community/forums/fp.php?pid=8772801 One of your crosses?

Beautiful show of blooms once again today! Keep em coming!

szarvas, Hungary

I prefer the blue ones - here are two flowers F1 that are sterile (only the stigma).

So in the morning is a problem to find a flower compatible!
Yet I have over 500 cultivars ... lol
This one is one of the mother .

This cultivar:

Today there was a very different flower .... I use stamens to make new crosses ...with Hatsu Arashi for example!

And today a flower different - wider and clearer ... I hope full of seeds!

Can be one day with the help of this flower ... a white flower with a water blue cross!
