I am keeping my feathered friends happy this winter with drinking fountain and s

Plymouth, MI(Zone 6a)

I just purchased a heated bird bath for the winter months, I am anxious tso see how the birds will like it. Has any one used one and are there any tips? It wasn't bad, sixty dollars. The heating unit is right in the bowl and it has a stand.

Deep South Coastal, TX(Zone 10a)

They will like it.

Newark, OH(Zone 5a)

We use one, They love it. One tip, when it snows we just pile a bunch of snow in and it melts it. That's easier then hauling water out to it.

That's great, have one myself' Another tip, place the birdbath where you can see it from the inside, such fun' I also made a "waiting area" lol. I placed a trellis near so some can perch to wait for their turn getting a drink' Also, nothing close that cats can hide behind and ambush your birds' Nearly forgot, keep your plug-in off the ground if possible too, dry(wrapped)
