Anyone have experience with Euphorbia polychroma 'Bonfire'?

Has anyone grown Euphorbia polychroma 'Bonfire' in Northern Virginia? I'd like to use it in the foreground of 10' sq. planting area on a southern facing hill in full sun. I am concerned about heat and humidity, which Taylor's Guides says is a problem.

I am not certain which zone you are, but here in zone 7 which is hot and humid, I have killed it more than once! Good luck!
