Pretty bloom, Jackie!

Jacksonville, AR(Zone 7b)

Thanks Becky, I love this one.

Gautier, MS

I think it's a very pretty bloom too, Jackie.

Thanks Jackie & Becky for your comments on my blooms from the other thread. Becky @35 is from Tony, a Tie Dye and the color is more white. I thought the bloom looked similar to Blue Pearl.

Black King

Helena - Wow! That Black King has a great color! You just don't see that color on many MGs! Very elegant looking!

Jacksonville, AR(Zone 7b)

Thanks Helena, amazing color on Black King.

This one has it's bloom petals all slicked back to woo the bees and hummingbirds! LOL!

Becky, beautiful youjiro, indica and that last beauty, no Monet? Great pics of your blooms.
I hope the rust doesn't get to be a problem here

Edited to add gorgeous color on the above bloom.

Thank you, Jackie!
Yes, I think that was no Monet (not).

The rust comes on really quick here. I didn't see much of it last week, but this week it's spread to many of my I. nil leaves. Hopefully, I'll get some seeds before the vines die. :-)

I hope you get to collect your sds Becky. My sds are maturing faster than usual in this heat, hopefully yours will too.

(Debra) Derby, KS(Zone 6a)

that black king is very rich looking...
i indica is such a beautiful work of eye candy.
Jackie, I am so glad you have some moonvine going. Mine has not bloomed yet, and yours looks like it could be a PF shot. Nice!

Gautier, MS

Thanks Jackie, Becky and Debra. Have 3 vines with Black King with pretty nice blooms at one time or another.

Beautiful blooms Becky of your lavender, indica and monet on the other thread.

This NOID bloom is a lot nicer than the picture shows.

Beautiful blooms Jackie, like all of them but favor your neat Sazanami.

really pretty blooms Jackie and Helena.

Helena - Love that blue cow lick again! And your NOID is a neat combo of blues, purple, pink, and white in that bloom! Pretty neat looking!

Jackie - Your bloom of Sazanami is beautiful! Love those shades of blue! Looks like you may have gotten a very desirable cross! The pink bloom does look like Sun smiles to me, too! Pretty pink porcelain! It may become a blizzard pattern as the vine ages. Mine did. What was the cultivar of the last one you posted today? Neat color!

Debra - I miss seeing your garden photos! You should take some photos and post them. You had a beautiful jungle of plants last year!

Jacksonville, AR(Zone 7b)

Thanks Debra and Becky.
Becky, that Choc looking bloom is on a huge vine growing in the floor of the g house. A dropped seed
from last yr or the yr before. The lvs are over 5 inches long, maybe larger. I've got another one
with purpurea looking lvs should bloom before too long. I will try and gather sds from the
Choc vine. Nice surprise

I gave all my species MGs a shot of Bloom Booster several days ago and this morning I noticed buds on my I. albivenia. Still no buds on I. sepacutiensis or Meremia tuberosa or the stictocardia. I wonder if they are all Fall bloomers? My Yellow Chinese Evening Glory is a winter bloomer.

Becky, I know the Merremia tuberosa likes to bloom in the fall like my ochracea and while I had a
stictocardia, it bloomed better in the late fall and winter

Edited for spelling
