I found this plant hiding amidst hostas and vinca minor when we moved into our home 4 years ago. It's done very well until this year. The combination of me removing excess plants from the bed (no more hiding beneath the hostas) and excessive sun/heat have burned spots on many of the leaves. I've been watering more often but really need to move the plant. So far, I'm debating moving it back in the bed beneath some taller vase-shaped hostas or to the other yard where my other woodland plants grow.Does anyone have any pictures of where their plants are thriving?
Here it is in the spring before summer hit:
Anemone acutiloba (or any Hepatica)
It really doesn't like full sun. It does best for me and where I have seen it is - dense shade, moist soil and around limestone rocks.
