upgrading from Windows XP to Windows 7

I really like my Windows XP butit is my understanding that Microsoft will not be supporting XP much longer. Have not heard anything really got about vista so thinking about going to windows 7.
Would just like to hear comments about all three versions. If I go to 7 I plan on ordering the $200 version.
