I really enjoy embroidery and I wanted to make Jade an embroidered quilt. I found these wonderful Mother Goose patterns and decided to do them like red work only not in just red. It was so much fun to do. I even hand quilted it. I'm not very good at hand quilting but it turned out pretty darn good even if I do say so myself..... The fabric is a cotton poly blend. I used that because I wanted the bright colors to stay bright. Jade is 12 now and she thinks she to old for Mother Goose so it has been banished to the closet.
