I work in a plant nursery, and was happy to see a pink annabelle on the market.
The nursery has many of these shrubs, and they all are disappointing. The flower color seems to start out pinkish and wind up as a washed out burgundy . The flowers tend to droop. The stems are wimpy and bend down. They show none of the great qualities of the white annabelle. These are in pots, so they may look better when they are planted in a garden?
Has anyone grown this plant with better results?
