Hummingbird Moth in action
Thanks for that site Sheila. Because it looks like I found a different kind of sphinx moth on the door one night. Now I'm just trying to figure out what one it might be from that site. It caught my attention because it was so much bigger then the other moths that were around the door because the light was on.
If you have kiddos, and want to show them some cool moths, pin a sheet on a clothes line or from porch roof and put a bright light behind it. It intensivfies the light and gives them something to land on. Get the camera ready!
