Hello; I have 2 Bradford Pear trees side by side and one of them is thinning very badly. There are some leaves curling up with black edges but I dont really ever see dead fallen leaves. It is almost as though the tree isnt producing nearly as many leaves as usual. The roots at the base of the sick tree are completely covered by soil and there are some mushroom looking things growing at the base. The roots of the good tree are partially exposed and there are not any mushrooms growing at that tree. I have included a pix. The good tree is in the forefront and the poorly one is behind it. I am wondering if anyone can tell what the trouble is and how to remedy it. Thanks.
