Thanks pirl, I think you're right! I bought it as Champange and was so disappionted when it came out white. It is very pretty but I already have 2 white ones.
I've bought and received so many plants with wrong names that I'm twice as delighted when one is what I actually ordered.
Miss Bateman can handle some shade so maybe that will give you more options as to placement.
I think you're right about the shade for her. She is on the East side of a chicken house that gets shade from the barn in the early morning. Her white blooms look great against the red shed. This year she was just covered with blooms. The South wind can be fierce there but she holds up well.
It's ideal to have her against a red background - matches the center perfectly. Take more photos for us, please.
