Paucity of Impatiens walleriana

Anyone able to find Impatiens walleriana along the Wasatch Front this year?

I've had a devil of a time finding any--usually there's such an abundance they've got leftovers in September. At the Western Garden Center in West Valley City, they had note cards on their sparse annuals shelves saying that their growers were having a hard time keeping up. Couldn't find much at Home Depot, even in those dastardly trade gallons (gallon annuals? are you daft?), nor at ShopKo, nor at my beloved Valley Nursery in Uintah.

At the Western Garden Center, I managed to find some sickly looking Accent six-packs (though they're looking better after a few weeks in the ground with all that cool rain), and some wonderful Trailing and Butterfly Impatiens (see below):

But at this point, I'm going to have to replace the violas and pansies in my big pots with I. hawkeri and Lobeila erinus, not a bad combo, but still. Now there aren't even any straggly wallerianas to buy.

Anyone know if it was a bad year for cultivating I. walleriana?

It has been a rather cool late spring up here at Glenwood Springs, CO. When I was out in Provo on April 18, the weather was really nice, but the week before that was wicked.

Gosh I would imagine that anything like Walleriana would be fairly easy to find in a metro area like Salt Lake. Sun River Gardens seemed pretty well stocked with all manner of plants.
