We compost and fertilize with used coffee grounds from local cafes. We're getting a couple of different kinds of growth, either a fungus or mold. Looking to see if it is healthy or unhealthy. It seems to be coming from where coffee grounds were added, and it is aerobic.
The photo is enlarged for detail. The green is blades of (crab)grass. The growth itself is sort of tan. I will add the white and other colors as well.
Any advice will be appreciated.
Thanks Marcia
So, is this a dangerous fungus/mold?
