Clematis Durandii?

Beaumont, TX(Zone 9a)

I received this clematis for my birthday from a close friend. I've tried searching for info but didn't get anything. Anyone have info on it?

Hi....I put two of these in the ground two years ago and this is their 3rd spring. I LOVE this clematis but it doesn't really twine like my other ones do. I have to "clip" it to the trellis I put between the two. In fact, I am so happy with them that I would love to design a spot where they would receive more attention. The flowers are really pretty and it looks like I am getting a second flush of blooms just starting. Also, so far it isn't very tall....maybe 4-5 feet. The leaves are very substantial and large for a clem too. I hope you enjoy it as much as I do ! kim

It isn't a climber so it's up to you to direct where you want it to go.
