I found several clumps of this purple-tipped plant growing wild alongside a path in a wooded area across the street. It's in partial shade and moist soil. Other plants around it are Wild Grape vines, Rosa multiflora, Common Honeysuckle and Jewel Weed. It is only 5 or 6 inches tall right now and I'm in Southeastern Rhode Island. Any help would be appreciated.
Can you tell me the name of this plant/weed?
It's pretty but watch out.
I have no idea.
Never saw it before....looks too pretty to be a weed......

ID forum will def be a bigger help
the square stem would make me nervous with that one though
Personally I'd let it grow just to see what happens. It's awfully pretty.
