I usually just leave the pods on the plant and let them fall down with the withering foliage which is hidden behind the lilies. This year I was pulling weeds in the patch and noticed masses of seedlings in various spots, each bunch I would guess, came from one pod. I plan to move these to another bed before too long. Did you know that Patty's Plum was found growing near a compost pile?
