Tiger lily bulbils

Prosperity, SC(Zone 7b)

My tiger lily had produced loads of bulbils this year before any trace of flower buds had formed. How do you turn these little shiny balls into new plants?

Wait until later in the season when they become loosely attached. The bulbils may even produce some little rootlets in the meantime. Plant them about 2" deep. Easy peasy. :)

Yep, go ahead and plant them.

i had tossed my bulgils in the empty spots in my flats, and then a few in a pot of soil covered so the cats couldnt hide then from me. the ones in the pot rooted, the ones in the flat did not live.
