Transition from Spring to Summer Containers
'Football lily' barely broke its dormancy then.
Hummingbird visited the Penta et al container.
Split Stone's first flower. This is my first. Never have I seen a flower of these succulent plant before.
The containers tropical-like garden looks more lush and 'established' by 3rd week of May.
Oleander enhances the tropical look of the makeshift tropical garden. Oleander is marginally 'hardy' here. By that I meant it survives but the coldest winter here.

Carulea passiflora initial flush in May. This vine although in container, it's left outdoor during winter. Currently the vine is producing its 2nd flush of flower buds.
The Lotus is coming right along 3rd week of May;
Addendum; to the right of the Lotus are that of Pink Madevella and Cannas.
Hanging basket of annuals to brighten up this portion of the garden. Various color Petunias serve as a focal point.
Semi-double pink tropical Hibiscus;
Single-blooming red tropical Hibiscus;
Hoya blooms also are abundant by mid May.
3rd week of May, the spring container planting is fading somewhat.
By this time ornamental Cherry is about to be in full glory;

Re-arranged the flowers pots location at the end of May.

June 1st, initial bud of 'Football' lily;
1st Bloom of 'Maypop' a passiflora that's native.
An abundant of tropical hibiscus blooms on 1st of June.

A member of the Amarylis family, the 'Football' Lily developed rapidly a few days later since the first bud was noticed.
