It was my first one last year and it bloomed really late last year. I got another this year but it is much smaller. Im an addict of all things that grow in the yard, except weeds. I went nuts with trees this year...5 magnolia, 2 pear, and potted up 52 (yes 52) pines of different kinds.
Here are my "day old" blooms from tonight. They are so pretty!
Ever seen the "purple leaf" before? Its half green/half purple...cool, but strange.
My spring bloomers , bloomed on the lower half and just put our long runner up the trellis. Now I have this one that has bloomed at the very top and none below. Strange...lol
