Helena - Those rayed blooms are amazing! Love them! And I really like the anna hubuki x choco rose F1 blooms! Very, very pretty!

I can't wait until my Sazanami blooms. I have Sazanami and Mauve Splash growing up an arbor on both sides. I have them growing in the long containers. :-)

Virginia Beach, VA(Zone 7b)

Jackie that dracula is very pretty. Love the colors on it. I am happy to say I have
one little pandy plant. Need to transplant it today. Looking for a permanent spot.

Helena, you have so many beautiful blooms. How many plants are you growing
this season, just curious?

And nifty, I would have to say my absolute favorite color is deep blues. I really
like the Asagi-kon Shibori and the no ID.

Thanks Becky, I was tempted to buy pink rayed blooms on ebay but I held off and decided to sow seeds that I had. Really glad I did cause they turned out better than expected!

I know your Sazanami and Mauve Splash will look great on your arbor. Looking forward to seeing them bloom for you.

Thanks Zinniared, roughly around 50 Ip. nil already in the ground and not sure how many in pots maybe another fifty. My problem is that I have several vines of the same similar bloom or name that I'm doing a grow out to see what I get.

I like your pretty Purple Flaked!

Helena, love the hubuki x choc rose cross from A, it's a beauty
Your no id does resemble my Youjiro yaguruma on my fence quite a bit
Becky looking forward to your Saz and Mauve splash climbing up your arbor.
I know they will be gorgeous.
Thanks Linda. Nice flaked bloom.Give your baby pandy plenty of room and hopefully a fence for support. It may not grow alot this yr but next yr it could be impressive.
Helena. getting ready to start my pandy thread for this yr. Be sure and see my opening
pic or two, will have my youjiro blooms mixed in and you can see the resemblance
to your no id.

Zinniared - Love your heavily striped Purple Flaked I. purpurea bloom! Such a neat-looking vine!

Helena - B E A U T I F U L !!!! All of them! Love the Asagao-pink rayed blizzard-stripes! That is a keeper!!! And I really like the Hanna hubuki x choco rose F1 very much, too! All of them are such lovely blooms to behold! :-) And seeing your Flying Saucers makes me wish that I had grown some this year. I really loved the ones I grew last year!

Nick - I love your 'Asagi-kon shibori'!!! Eye-candy for sure! And I really like your close-up photo of Fujishibori. Awesome photo!

Dany - $10 for one seed???? Are the blooms laced with gold or something? LOL!

I had a few blooms showing up outdoors over the weekend. This is a NO ID vine and bloom. Nice purple color!

In the same long containers is this NO ID blue bloomer. The purple blooming NOID has variegated leaves. This blue bloomer has solid green leaves.

Ipomoea sepacutiensis has some really neat leaves. This one looks like a large bat! LOL!

Here is a photo of the whole vine. Will be interesting to see what the blooms look like. It reminds me a lot of the Brazilian MG (I. setosa).

Becky, Your purple is really pretty. But that Lavendar Flaked is a show off, what a beauty

Heres a pic of my Split Second. Hope it feathers more later on.

Jackie - The purple flaked has always been a favorite I. purpurea of mine. But I am really loving the lavender flaked variety. The pink is probably the colors changing as the day goes on. I have it in sun for part of the day and in shade the rest of the time. Interesting Split Second bloom. I have one of those growing too.

Becky, My 1st Split 2nd isn't very impressive but it may take a while to reach potential.
I remember others stating that they (the higes/feathereds) don't start out feathered.
It may get better with each bloom.

Gautier, MS

Thanks Jackie, Nick and Becky!

Love all your gorgeous blooms Becky, really healthy vines you got there.

Neat Split 2nd bloom Jackie. I'm thinking of growing higes and purpureas for late fall.
