Care of Euphorbia characias 'Tasmanian Tiger'

Agawam, MA(Zone 6a)

I just added this plant to my garden and I'm not sure how to protect it through the winter, do I cut it down in the fall or spring. Leave it alone. When I received from Blue Stone, it had been cut down mid stem and new growth appeared on the cut down stem. Any help you can give me will be appreciated.

Plant Care:
No special care needed. Can be cut back by a third after flowering to prevent seeding. Does not like to be transplanted once established. Some people are sensitive to the milky sap, so take care when shearing.

Sorry it wasn't more. :(

I have had it survive a winter, but not two in a row. Sad as I love it. Two strikes, but I will try it one more time in yet again a different spot when I see one again. Good luck Patti
