My little neighborhood chipmonk has developed a habit of raiding my birdfeeders and burying his loot in my flower pots. The sunflowers are sprouting and I am at my wits end trying to keep up with removing them. First I tried cayenne pepper on the plants, then I tried spraying the plants with Repels-All but am still catching it digging. Can anyone suggest something else I can try?
Dealing with an unwanted chipmonk
This won't help with the chipmunk, but if you microwave the birdseed for a few minutes it'll kill the seeds so they won't sprout.
Good tip! Thanks!
