I love it; the color is unusual, and the shape of the fall is, I am sure, just a little damage to the bud.

You know, I have never seen an ugly iris either. Some have been a bit bedraggled or insect chewed, or frost damaged, or malformed, but ugly? Never!!

I don't think that iris is ugly at all.In fact I've never really seen an ugly iris. I did however receive some daylilies that the trader thought were so wonderful, and they were so ugly. I gave them to a church just for fillers and when they bloomed this year, they tore them out and put in ditch lilies. LOL. I guess beauty is in the eye of the beholder.
