it's my favorite iris book. You'll learn a lot about irises from it. I don't know if it will help you ID the irises, though.

do you know a iris book that would?

South Hamilton, MA

There are too many irises for that type of book as over 1,000 are registered per year. The 'Gardiner's Iris book' by Wm Shear is good for a start of learning all about them. If you get named varieties map where they are planted as well as labels above & below the ground. I don't take my own advice on mapping & sometimes come up with a mystery. Learn the different classes of iris & then the names for color descriptions if you only grow TB. But if you wish to have a book which tells all of the different named cultivars, I'm afraid it doesn't exist.
