HI. My friend had a stroke in Dec. '09. He had learned to walk and function almost normally. He moved in with me back in January of this year. Since he moved in he had another stroke and can't walk anymore. He needs 24 hr. care. He has no income whatsoever and lost his disability due to being on probation for a drug-related offense.
I am providing 100% financial support and I'm on mental disability myself. I am also a caregiver for my mother who has severe dementia. So far we are making it OK on our combined SSA checks.
Do he or I have any options? Is there any way I can get him some kind of financial support? I live in TN.
