I have strawberries in a 3 tiered raised bed-4' square. The plants were put in over the past year- some purchased online, some at Lowe's ,some from a friend- all were growing great until I started seeing deformed, mottled leaves-Now the strawberries are forming in grotesque shapes- it can't be herbicide- I am inside a wood privacy fence with new homes around-no spraying has been done. My soil is what I have used for gardens for years- some half priced broken bags from Lowe's, some homemede compost, etc. Nothing new. Can the plants just have a disease? There are no insects on them.
My strawberries have a serious problem
Could be damage from tarnished plant bugs--here's some info for you: http://www.omafra.gov.on.ca/english/crops/facts/92-108.htm
