The lower leaves are turning yellow and falling off. I've got it outdoors in the coastal Southern California sun. I'm wondering maybe it's getting too much water? I don't have a picture of the leaves at the moment.

This plant does not like full sun. Part shade to filtered light is best. Water in the summer is usually not a problem.
Interesting, the grower assured me it was a full sun lover. Hmm, I think I have a good spot for it given this information. Thank you!
