After Killing my Nepenthes ventrata last year

Frankfort, KY(Zone 6a)

I bought another, hung it in the GH where I have three breeding rabbits.
It's been in there doing well, getting only rain water.
I looked in some of the pitchers and found it was working very well.

Rabbits = Poo......Poo=Flys

Question: Is this the correct thing to do ? ? or should I leave the insects in the pitchers ?

Hope everyone is having a great day, Dwight

Leave the insects in the pitchers. No need to remove them.

So now you've tipped out the pitchers you'll need to put back the water(rain water) inside them or your pitchers will shrival and die very quickly.

I filled them all 1/3 to 1/2 with rain water and they are 'working' I see a couple of flys inside.

Check them again in a while and see that they haven't sucked all the water away. I know when i buy thm and get them posted to me i have to top them up a few times then there right forever after that.
