Irises don't really come in black, just very dark purple. If you look at the iris photos or in some of the on-line catalogs like Schreiner's, you will find something you like.

Makj, thank you so much for sharing your beautiful irises with me. This gorgeous yellow one just bloomed. It is stunning, so tall. It came in a noid swap but I'm thinking it is a look alike to Silk and Honey. A keeper for sure! Also a good increaser.
