I am SO excited, I FINALLY have some blooms in my garden. This one is Olympic Challenge. I was told it was orange, but in my garden it's peachy. This one was bought a couple of years ago, from a local iris society sale, and was just small when purchased. I had one scape last year, but boy, has it increased since then!

Love, love, love colors of pic #1.

I have another near black, Midnight Oil, which was amazing last year. But I don't expect it to bloom for another week or so. I hope to see both of these near blacks blooming at the same time, so I can compare them. I got both of them from Schreiners a couple of years ago. Hello Darkness did not bloom last year.

But I have to admit, these near blacks are gorgeous. And even though Hello Darkness did not bloom last year, the increase it has shown has been nothing short of amazing. Until several scapes opened, I had no clue it had increased so much over the previous 2 years. It is a much larger clump than I anticipated it to be. ~Jan

And I haven't a CLUE what this one is, doesn't match anything from my order sheets. All I can think is that something was mislabeled at shipping. And until everything blooms, I can't figure out which one it is supposed to be....
